It's another Monday and Mondays are too serious for my liking but I do not have a choice than to make the most out of the day.
My head should be buried in my books because my final exams are coming up in few weeks, instead I'm here writing.

The 50th
This is the 50th published edition of my newsletter and I'm filled with awe as well as surprise on how far I've come in this writing thingy, this initially started out as a joke to cure my boredom and now it's a full-blown newsletter with over a hundred subscribers. I'm so happy and grateful to each and everyone of you that have knowingly and unknowingly contributed to the growth of this publication, you guys are the real gees ❤️
The life of an early riser
I'm in a love-hate relationship with early rising…..
I'm an early riser and it has it's perks and downsides, one of the annoying downsides is that I do not get to wake up late on days when I want to sleep in because my body is already accustomed to being alert by 5am. People that wake up late are God's favorites fr because even if I go to bed late, I wake up extremely early and exhausted and I can't go back to bed no matter how hard I try.
One of the exciting things about being an early riser is that I get to enjoy the extremely quiet mornings before the world goes mad.
Another perk is that I do not need an alarm clock to wake me on time because my body's system has an inbuilt alarm clock.
Femicide
For a while now, things have been really ugly on “X” because almost on a daily, heartbreaking news about rapes and murders of women make their way there as well as many others that are even unreported, which transports us to our current reality on femicides. This whole femicide issue has me sad because you don't know whom/what is next.
It's annoying that whenever issues like this come up, enablers and rape apologists rear their ugly heads and have the loudest and unempathetic opinions which makes me question their humanity.
A whole lot is happening out there to women and girls instead a whole library of tips on how women can protect themselves keeps growing on a daily basis instead of tackling the issues from the root and creating a safe space for women. Our judicial system is also an outdated and inefficient one that needs a lot of thorough reforms from the inside out to be able to tackle this problem, well this is Nigeria and anything goes.
I'm tired of constantly looking over my shoulders, the whole mental gymnastics and switching my brain to active mode whenever I'm in public and even private and I'm sure a lot of ladies can relate to this.
Well the most annoying part of waking up early for me is the hunger 🫤😩, and I can’t help it,
Because of how I enjoy I quiet mornings around 2am it seem like a habit I’ve to settle down and change, Coz my projected hustle is still in front! 😅
For the “ Femicide “ I don’t even know there was a word for it.
PS: and also don’t know what to think of it, this events reminds me of the times Fraudsters we’re using Female underwears for fetish rituals just for wealth
The “ cause “ I can think of is societal structures
( I mean who designed us this way? )
On the street we can refer to any I’ll-balance ( including Femicide ) as
THUG-LIFE = The hate you give little infant fucks everyone
I simply translates it as - The Neglect ( little boys were processed with ) and The bullsh*t Empowerment of the girl child that has been cliché for everyone!
This explains why I dislike Sexism a lot same as gender equality, male and female are very different and drastically have different roles to play in society
( naturally though ) so making all genders do the same or thriving for same thing is just mind boggling for me.
If we all just focus on educating the girl child!
Who’s teaching these empty skull boys how to become accountable and responsible men!?

( A metaphor ) My point is that if you train baby rabbits 🐇 in a garden and bring a wild cub
( who has survival alone all his life figuring out stuffs alone, and they thrive to grow together,
Trust me when the garden suddenly becomes a forest?
It will be a big joke to think there’s a safe habitat for the rabbits 🐇 when baby cub wants to become a lion )
